Veda is a name for a sacred Hindu text, so I would avoid that one (assuming you’re white/non-Hindu). Verona is the name of the city where Romeo and Juliet takes place and Vesper is a type of vehicle, so I personally would avoid those, but that’s more of a personal taste thing. Vanya’s my favorite, followed by Verity.

One of my favorite characters is named Van and I loved the name (it’s one of my favorite names at all), but it was too masculine to me to use as my name, so I extended it to Vanya so that I could have the name be a nickname if I wanted to

lol funny you mention that, no! But close! Vanya, Vesper, and Valkyrie were names I heard previously and was drawn to, Viveca and Verona both play into different parts of my heritage, and then everything else was from Google lol
