Wait what do you mean your chest has to shrink small enough for surgery??

i’m overweight and have a larger chest. I have to lose weight ,which will probs include some of my chest area shrinking as well, before I can get top surgery.

not OP’s situation, but ik people who have started t + worked out to shrink their chest enough to qualify for different types of surgery (ex. peri), but you have to already have a small chest for that.

Gotcha, I will have to talk to my eventual surgeon about that I guess. I’ve got a very large chest proportionally and do not want T. I knew I wouldn’t qualify for like keyhole though

To clarify the above comments, when people talk about their chests shrinking from working out, it’s just weight/fat loss, the breast tissue itself isn’t affected.

yeah exactly. but if someone is a borderline candidate it is possible to lose enough volume for different technique options.
