Because gender identity ≠ gender expression! I’m a very femme gay man, and I love it, but being a girl is just wrong to me :)

I experienced this too and ngl, my theory is this The problem was never expressing masculinity, it was being masculine as a man. And now that I’m a woman, I feel more comfortable embracing masculinity because I’m doing it in a woman way
