maybe frame it as being paranoid for your safety? because of all the transphobic hate crimes in the news lately

given the state we live in that’s something that is terrifyingly believable and honestly one of my main concerns. i wasn’t sure how to word it but just “concerned for my safety in a transphobic red state” should be enough. thank you 💕
