only effect of testosterone I'm worried about is male pattern baldness. My dad went bald around my age and I would like to keep my hair thank you

Yeahhh you’ll probably go bald. Consider keeps. They’re kind of expensive but I was balding pre transition and it helps a lot. Topical finasteride+minoxidil keeps DHT from damaging your hair follicles without getting any of the side effects of finasteride. Minoxidil keeps your hair stronger and even makes hair grow in that was dead at one point. Highly recommend!

i'm fighting it hard with that 1 mg finasteride (i got really sick so didn't keep up with topical minoxidil but if you do use it, buy it from costco online, really cheap) but i got some real baldies in the family so we'll see

I wouldn’t leave anything up to wishful thinking, it’s a good way to be disappointed. The best way to avoid male pattern baldness is to avoid it in the first place

Finasteride + minoxidil is great (minoxidil makes your hair shed tho so it’s thinner for a while before it becomes thick again but like it does circle back around) microneedling is also good I’ve heard. For me the biggest help was estrogen lmao. But that’s not really an option here.
