The hair is one of my fave changes but you can do laser or electrolysis to help with hair removal

I'm doing laser right now to prepare my arm for phalloplasty. I'm gonna do electrolysis for touch ups sometime this summer because I want to do UL

Oh, please don’t do laser for that!! The vellus hairs can cause a lot of infection and complications in the urethra and would require surgical revision… 😓

Oh I'm not just doing laser btw, I'm doing a combination of laser and electrolysis. Don't worry I know this

Okay, great! I’ve seen intervaginal electrolysis done because they went with laser for it all and the hairs grew back and it’s *not* fun, but is manageable whereas the urethra is not. Mostly sharing as an informational for anyone else reading.

My arm hair was dark and dense so I wanted to do laser to thin it out and remove the bulk of it. This summer, as I prepare and get closer to surgery, I will be getting electrolysis to permanently remove the hairs in the area I will use to get UL. If I had just done electrolysis it would take longer and be more expensive than doing a combo

I’m glad you’re concentrating on the UL area for it and are aware of it! 🙂‍↕️

It takes longer but many times saves long term costs because it’s truly permanent. Laser can only be advertised as permanent *reduction* because it can’t target every hair on every person and the hairs can grow back even years after depending on conditions of use/body/hair, needing more touch ups.
