yeah like as obvious as this seems, it's important to have research to show that yes, being awful abt trans ppl causes trans ppl distress. that way other drs and such can point to it and be like well we don't want to cause distress. also probably this study has more info that just us being distressed, like id assume it measures stress for us being gender correctly and such, so that's another valuable data point
