i went to a restaurant today and everyone i talked to refrained from using gendered words for me. i was in boymode. does that mean i'm passing or nah? i'm a trans woman

Idk about passing but that does make it seem like they could at least tell you were trans which is definitely a good sign for progress :3

i live in an area where if they thought i was trans i would have known. seems like they thought i could've been a cis guy or a cis girl

Ah yea in that case they probably just couldn’t tell. Even if that’s not your end goal I’d still consider that a good progress marker :3
