They withdrew the case, my surgery is tomorrow :)

I’m really sorry :( I’m glad you’re still able to get surgery though! Ultimately our families are only where we start. There’s connections just as meaningful to build with those around us who accept us and love us for who we really are. My parents aren’t transphobic but they’re not exactly safe either so I’ve learned that lesson all the same. And besides needing them for tuition I feel no reason to go back there. But my friends are definitely very important to me.
