Yeah ik he wears a bow at some point in the show & he’s heavily repressing his emotions and everything. And ik that song “isn’t she lovely” played. But none of it really connected to me and even thinking about it now it’s like so so subtle it’s like Lena having romantic feelings for Kara in Supergirl subtle.

Subtle as in it isn’t necessarily real even if the creator says so. They didn’t connect it in a way that would make it real really. Definitely isn’t representation.

Not everything has to be said blatantly for it to be real, subtly can be an amazing tool when writing, most people figured out she was trans very early on in the series, and within the last three or so episodes, most people had pinpointed that she was trans fem, all my friends are trans and they figured it out and they love the representation, especially my trans fem friends. Just because it wasn’t spelled out fully doesn’t mean it’s not good

Yeah maybe your friends feel that way but I really don’t think most people do. At most it’s 50/50 or 60/40.
