Super hit or miss but good ones do exist. Like #1 said keep their dating history in mind as well as their sexuality. If they’re gay, make sure they know you’re trans sooner than later. I’ve had the best luck with bisexuals and pansexuals, but only if they’ve identified as such for a while before you.
i’m tmasc nonbinary/fluid dating a cis bi guy. i had only done t4t before so i was very wary but hes the best boyfriend i’ve ever had (to be fair all of my other partners were when i was a teen, none of us were mature). have open talks with him about being trans, what it means to you and your boundaries about it, and to see if he’s okay with it. i’m also demi so we took things super slow which made me feel better about it
i’m very open about being trans and it’s on all of my dating app profiles (that’s how we met) but none of his profiles state his sexuality even tho just looking at this guy he doesn’t seem straight. i’m just a little worried cos i like to dress fem when going out but ive been on T for like 4 years so ive got facial hair and a deeper voice and all that jazz so im assuming if he’s into me there’s no way he’s straight right??
i don’t think he’s a chaser tbh. we ended up meeting each other irl randomly and that’s how it really kicked off so i don’t think he’s actively looking for trans ppl. i just don’t know if he’s ever dated a man before :/ but it might be the same situation you have with your bf so there’s hope
