in cis spaces you can almost be better off sometimes because if you pass or are close enough to passing their brain just defaults to “it has boobs, it’s a woman, use she/her” or “it has a beard, it’s a men, use he/him”

as a non-binary person who knows a lot of trans people I’ve seen it mostly from trans fems but my experience isnt defining of everyone else’s

in my experience the only people i’ve ever met who are consistently good enough ab it are people who are like well into the process of medically transitioning, which is more often binary trans men and women.

some NBs aren’t as queer/trans as they’d like you to think, they’ll either be amazing about respecting and enforcing your pronouns even among other people or they’ll just be experimenting and never truly take actual trans people seriously (don’t be surprised if they eventually go back to being cis once they stop getting attention/friends)

they’ll kill you for saying this but it’s true, it’s the same reason that there’s such a large number of transmasc people who act like T is some super dangerous deadly drug that they’d never in a 1000 years risk taking lol
