I never realized I did this until I visited my boyfriend at his job (an ER which gets so incredibly hectic) and heard a voice behind me yell mom and without even thinking I just bent down and picked up the kid and helped him find his mom

legitimately please do!!! anyone has the power to become mom figure whether that means beating the crap out of someone or holding a kid’s hand/being a friendly face

To be fair its probably out of fear that she will be seen as a creep if she tries to help a child because some ppl think trans women are inherently predators

I’m not even at the trans woman side of those problems yet (though they gonna hit) just at the point of don’t wanna be seen at best as the scary intimidating man and at worst still as a predator
