im pretty sure that what op means is actually the opposite of obsessing?? like they wish cis people could go ah yes cool, register the pronouns they use, and move on instead of going "bu-but b-b-but YOURE A ___" or some variation of "thats not how that works/i just dont understand people these days/cant you just be normal and not shove this all down my throat" like hey. it was going to be 10 seconds of your time and now its been 10 minutes of you being weird
