I just want to transition already but I’m not insured, I don’t make enough to cover hormones on top of everything else, I still got a year of college and so much debt to pay after HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA can my life just start already HAHAH

idk which way youre going but if you use goodrx you dont really need to be insured

I plan to use goodrx anyways cause a discount is always good, but to go through planned parenthood the consult/appointment, labs and stuff would be around $250 and around 150/200 for each visit (that’s what they quoted me over the phone for uninsured) and that doesn’t include the t prescription. I don’t make enough to cover that monthly.

if there are no clinics in your area that offer sliding scale pricing, you could still do diy (iirc around the same price as pharmacy with goodrx). there are a loy of guides on how to do this. in any case, theres really no need for monthly appointments and labs.
