Did you go to CVS? Also you could ask your doctor for the 10 mL instead of multiple 1 mLs

That is standard. you’ll get the 12 just over 4 months assuming that you’re taking a shot per week and you’re vials are 1 use only (which you can almost always get 2-3 doses out of depending on your dose.

yeahhhhh 1 month supply instead of three 🥀 i plan on stretching it anyway so it’s not too big of a deal it’s just kind of annoying

i was prescribed 12 though and was supposed to get them all at once, that’s what the nurse practitioner at the PP said and even the pharmacy confirmed i was prescribed 12 it’s not a huge deal it’s just kind of annoying that i’ll have to go back monthly now instead of just getting it all at once

Some pharmacies have extra “policies” to prevent controlled substance abuse, but it always shits on trans people instead. I switched from CVS to Rite Aid because they’d always cap my prescriptions; couldn’t get more than 4 vials and a new script had to be sent every 3 months, even if there were enough refills

I also get prescribed 12 at a time it’s just how it works since testosterone is legally a controlled substance. Also with how little often you get prescribed needles and syringes you’ll be there about once a month anyways.

i was able to get a three month supply of needles from planned parenthood! so that shouldn’t be an issue at least thankfully 🙏

yeah i would really recommend trying to get the 10ml vial. you’ll be set for a while and prevents a lot a difficulties you might have with your pharmacy in the future

Do they restock often? Each time I’ve looked they don’t have what I’m looking for and the evil Amazon has both my syringes and needles for cheap in bulk.

What supplies are you looking for? I usually substitute if available ones are close enough. I switched my 18g’s for 22g’s, and 1 mL’s for 3

I use 25g and 22g needles with 1ml luer syringes… have previously ordered an almost a 2 year supply for ~$28
