His whole stance has been that he would treat a transgender person with respect but to him they are the gender they were born with I tried explaining a million times that that is being transphobic it's not showing it's not showing respect at all

i think a lot of people get hung up on the difference between sex and gender. my chromosomes are xy and that’s baked in at a genetic level. gender is far more fluid and varies drastically between people and cultures. when talking to cis people a lot are unable to disconnect the two. if you’re able to explain that it may click better

(you actually don’t know your chromosomes unless you’ve had a karyotype, and 99% of the US population hasn’t had one :)
