I feel so stuck in a corner between dysphoria and sensory issues. I HATE binding, can’t use tape (too big) and I’m not mentally ready for surgery. Binding doesn’t seem effective enough to be worth the physical hell, but I’m so uncomfortable either way.

Me too it’s so frustrating. The last I checked my size is 36F and I used to wear two sports bras that are both my size but I’ve learned recently that it can damage your tissue and make it harder to get surgery :/ I’ve just switched to using an xl sports bra fully made of spandex that has the shape of a binder so I just call it one and it doesn’t give me sensory issues.

I’ve heard good things about forthem and other binders on the market that use non-scratchy materials! I’ve also heard testosterone can gradually flatten your chest by moving around fat so that’s been one of my sources of hope fighting waves of dysphoria ⚔️🫀 I hope you find an option that works for you and intensity of dysphoria you’re experiencing will not last forever

Unfortunately T is not an option for me, I don’t want any of the changes (besides this one apparently). I’ve heard that ForThem is great for flatter chests, but maybe I’ll look into their return policy and give them a try? The sports bra method is a tried and good-ish method. Honestly at this point I’m ready to sew my own binders.

I’m a 32HHH (last measured) and so if you know of binders that have elastic around the ribs, I love that about sports bras but need some big enough to hold the rest of my chest.
