Question: I’m a straight male who went shopping with my trans male friend. He tried something on that was more fem and I got very much attracted to him. He’s pre transition, although I’m confidently straight, does this mean I’m having bi-curious thoughts?

Did you genuinely see him as a man in that moment or were you attracted to him as a female? And do you have any desire or curiosity whatsoever to explore things with other feminine men that aren’t your friend?

Sexuality can also just be weird sometimes. I dated a feminine trans man for over 5 years, and while I called myself bi during the relationship, I consider myself straight now (and did before getting with him). It wasn’t a straight relationship and I absolutely saw him as a man, but there’s also complexities and nuance to the situation.

seconded on sexuality is weird, and js to add on ik theres also people who are specifically attracted to femininity as opposed to just women (or masculinity vs just men) so i wonder if it might be a case like that as well?

That’s how I defined my bisexuality when I was in that relationship, but that ended up not being the case for me personally. But it’s definitely a thing and could be the case for OP and others
