I normally cut my own hair so it’s not like it’d look worse because I cut it, though it might look worse because I’m feeling Shitty and that might impact the process

impulsive decisions are never good coping mechanisms (speaking from experience), if cutting your hair will make you happy then you shouldn’t rush into it. preparing and planning means you’ll be a lot happier in the end

Also it’s currently about shoulder length, closest approximation to the cut is a wolf cut I think

Also also, I have been a bit antsy recently and have been tempted to cut it (more than just a trim) for the past few weeks, but I’ve held back since it’s winter and longer hair acts like a built-in scarf, promised myself I’d cut it once spring came around

for me, I feel most depressed when I’m feeling pain and when I think that I’m alone in that. diving into a story or game that connected deeply with you and your pain will help you process it so you come out of it better (and with a cool cut)

I can’t think of any games/stories that have connected deeply with my pain, but two games do come to mind that felt like they said to me “it’ll be ok” (Gris and unpacking), so I’ll go ahead and start up one of those. They should make me feel better, so once I’m there I’ll decide on whether or not I’ll cut it. Thank you for the input❤️

I fear that I will fail once again to stop shilling for In Stars And Time. it’s a super well-contained story rpg game which encapsulated not only my depression/dysphoria but also the sheer lack of control I have over my own pain. it’s such a catharsis and I highly recommend looking into it

I actually looked into it probably from a post you made and added it to my steam wishlist haha. Don’t currently have the money to buy a game for more that like $5, but I’ll get it once I have the money or if it goes on sale

I realize I yapped too hard and missed the part where you mentioned you had comfort games, I hope you come back to read this comment with a clearer head if not a lighter heart ♥️

I’ve only seen one post about it here and the way you talk about it sounds very similar lmao. And thank you so much for the offer, I’m kind of overwhelmed at the kindness of it. It is $19.99 rn though, are you sure you’d be good with that?
