THIS bruh my new campus job says we should introduce ourselves with pronouns to tour groups IF WE WANT but during my tour exam the proctors got upset i didn’t state my pronouns and now i have to retake my exam :3

Honestly I’m in favor of them - better than being misgendered by everyone for whole semester (even though some will misgender you regardless) + sometimes you learn that someone else in the room is a rainbow person

its fine as an *option* during intros, making it mandatory can force a lot of people, especially in college when we’re still trying to figure out how safe a space is, either into or out of the closet when they’re not ready
