Has anyone had experience with gender marker change on a passport or birth certificate since January 2025?

My homie got theirs changed to an X in 2024 :/ they could maybe help out tho?

birth certificate will vary by state. passport—not happening.

I got my birth certificate changed, Aug 2025 without issue, license and ssn in Jan 2025, working on passport bc my new birth certificate should be enough document to switch the F to M on it now.
