21 is still pretty young! being able to transition at a young age (ie like under 18) is a pretty recent thing. i’ve seen so many trans people online discuss how they transitioned at older ages (wish i could remember usernames but alas) and how satisfied they were with it. you have so much life left to live and you deserve to live it as your truest self

i've known i'm trans since i was like 13 and i turn 20 this year and have yet to even come out. do everything on your own timeline, it's never too early and never too late.

it's too late when you're dead. an old motto of the trans community was, don't die wondering. being able to transition before 18 is an incredibly recent development, and even transitioning soon after 18 is pretty new. it's worth growing into yourself
