How come I cannot be proud of who I am as a transwoman! I am so binary that I want people to just think that I am a woman? :( I just met two transwomen (different place, different times) who are so proud of themselves that they haven’t done any surgeries.

I think I feel similarly. I’ve never really wanted to be trans, or seen as trans. I just want to be as cis passing as possible, and at the same time, I’m so envious of those who are proud of who they are. It’s like part of me wishes I could be proud and happy that I’m trans, but all I really want is to just be cis, or as close as I can get. On top of it all, I feel a lot of shame for feeling this way

That is so on point!! I don’t know if you are a transwoman or a transman, but I am sure it’s the same with either 😞
