For me I always subconsciously wished I was a woman but I put 2 and 2 together when every character and DnD character I made was a woman

for me it was the slow realization that my attraction to women was both "i want to be with them" and "i want to be them"

I thought that it was very cis of me to wake up crying after having dreams where I was a woman because I woke up in my male body, also lots and lots of gender envy

i’ve had the feeling since i was old enough to walk and talk i have never been happy with being socialized to be a boy and when you suffer that for so long and you have to sit and realize all my friends are women dudes don’t get me and i want to look like my mother you kinda start wondering the list goes on
