I thought I was nonbinary but I tried on a bra with padding today and I think I know what gender euphoria feels like. Any tips?

I’m non-binary and get euphoria from having boobs sometimes, it could mean yoyre actually a trans woman but it could also mean you have a nuanced gender identity (or both)

you could still be nonbinary and also want boobs. that joy is a feeling worth pursuing. there's a group creating these things called knitted knockers for people with breast cancer - if you can't get breast forms and want a step up from socks or padding you could try making those. and it sounds like estrogen/progesterone might be worth considering, but that can be a down the line kind of thing if you want to take it slow.

It might be both? But I mean like I know I’m happier looking more feminine but I thought I was fine with looking more masculine too but recently it just doesn’t feel the same anymore.

also, just to say, i'm really happy for you. that's a beautiful feeling and experience, and i hope you get to feel a lot more of it.

Thank you so much and I’ll definitely look into that! I’ve been heavily considering seeing an endocrinologist about an hrt consult but I’m on my parents insurance and they would NEVER be ok with that. Still though I think I’ll do some more research

planned parenthood, if they do gender affirming care in your state virtually or in person, has a good sliding scale for payment so you can go without insurance. they're well aquainted with that. my friend used folx, an online service, and you could use plume too. my primary care doctor can prescribe hrt, although unfortunately if you fill the prescription at a pharmacy they may run it through insurance. not sure if, even if you buy it without insurance, that shows up to your parents.
