what are like signs you’ll pass well? i’m mtf probably starting hrt soon but also am scared about what gonna happen if i don’t get to a point where i can pass in this climate. are there “tells” for pre-hrt trans girls that indicate being able to pass?

most of the stuff is pseudoscience, there’s lots of people who firmly believe they’ll never pass them find themselves looking at their reflection in the mirror and see they were wrong. sometimes you need to put more effort into learning about brow shapes/makeup/hairstyles/facial accessories like glasses or piercings/voice training or a million other things. there’s so many things to can do to contribute to passing; the only “tell” is if you don’t or can’t put in that effort

ya it does depend- but by in large i see most people who have drastic changes like that also lose/add weight or have surgical option. also don’t underestimate angles and lighting in pictures change appearance quite a bit… i work in a clinic where we see a bunch of mtf and ftm patients. the drastic appearance difference can happen absolutely! but i dont want op to think that will be them as it happens only minority of the time in my personal experience especially after a male puberty.
