My girlfriend grew up religious and I didn’t. Im not a believer, but I want to go to church with her. How do you navigate the church environment with an open mind to both the preachings and the idea that not all religious people are transphobic? I have a barrier that everyone there would hate me if they knew I was trans

Well I grew up in a non practicing religious family, and only started believing in my own version of religion after I took a college class on Christianity (Methodism). I do not go to church but one mindset I’ve used to do things I normally don’t is that no one actually gives a shit about everyone else around them
