just bc you’re on a diet doesn’t mean i can’t have a cookie 🥰 you have fun limiting yourself in life, i’m gonna develop my own morals for myself and live to the fullest without worrying about my “good god” who “loves me” sending me to hell for who i love

the Bible does not have anything against trans people. someone who’s uneducated might try gaslighting you that Leviticus is still valid, don’t believe them (I can explain why if you want). - a trans Christian

oh it's really simple actually, Christians just don't follow the laws laid out in Deuteronomy 22. it's well-understood among Christian scholars that many Jewish laws (including those of Deut 22) simply aren't applicable to Christian audiences because of salvation. also, Deuteronomy 22:5 was written because (at the time) crossdressing was related to adultery and idolatry, both of which are well-defined sins in Christian & Jewish tradition. crossdressing was never considered inherently sinful

also, in the same chiasmus/group of verses is Deut 22:12 which is that you can’t wear mixed fabrics which literally everyone has done lol
