Our friends have had to start correcting my (also trans) bf on my pronouns, he keeps referring to me with he/him and calling me a mister and man and boyfriend and such when I’m nb and exclusively use they/them and gender neutral terms where I can??

He does it to his other partner too, but I think they do use he/they so maybe he’s just confusing us sometimes? He doesn’t have trouble with any of our friends or our bf who use he/him or she/her but I’m the only they/them person so maybe he’s just confused

if it’s so bad and gone on so long that others are not just noticing, but jumping in to correct him, there have been several lines crosses.

Yeah I’m probably going to bring it up the next time he does it, I don’t want to do it out of the blue but if he does it again, I’ll pull him aside about it, don’t feel having a conversation tonight because he’s on a date with his other partner and I feel sick
