Went on a first date. I saw him getting out his wallet, so I reached for mine and he was like no I’ll pay and I was like no let me pay for both of us! (I had no reason to do this. I didn’t enjoy the date. I’m broke. Idk why I did that). and he let me 💔
You bring your wallet but act like you don’t have it. No matter what let the dude pay especially if he offering.

Always pay for only your own part for a first date. Or split 50-50. It’s never a good idea to set up a precedent of financial dependence in a relationship.
