Planned something with my best friend and she canceled 3 hours before. Over the past 12 years she has canceled 3/4 out of the times we make plans. I’ve been so mad at her that this time I finally said something. She canceled from a tummy ache.

It came back she’s miscarrying and I angrily spoke to her and now I feel bad. I feel horrible

Oh my goodness OP! I’m so sorry! Please don’t feel bad! You had no idea! I completely understand your frustration- especially when you have gone that long without seeing a friend you desperately want to see (long distance friendships unite). It was right to say something, you had no idea the circumstances were that dire, and since you feel guilt now thats a sort of proof to yourself that if you had known that you would of approached the situation differently.

When I call I can hear the hospital in the back and her husband. It’s been bad and she sounds in pain
