Like why are we encouraging taylor to do charity work😭😭😭 I feel like she only collaborates with artists when it would make the song better and in what world is sombr’s ass making a song BETTER? What could he possibly contribute… it would be taylor doing all of the work for the group project and then he gets to put his name on it and get more of it out of than taylor would. Also lowkey that’s bad PR bc we’re in a period of taynegativity and people do not like that twink.

I don’t think we should call him names like that but it does annoy me .

Still not nice to go around calling people names …

Ok I guess we’re discoursing this now. Twink was not an insult until straight people got ahold of it, I didn’t mean it as one. A twink is literally just a skinny, young, gay or bisexual man. Society literally privileges all of those things except for queerness, and sombr has yet to publicly define his sexuality to my knowledge. If you find the term to be an insult, you’re either listening to the wrong people or need to address your internalized homophobia. Don’t step to me like that again.

i don’t get the extreme hate. like obviously not everyone is gonna love his music, completely understandable. but it seems like people just hate on him constantly and i either am missing something or it’s just weird

It’s charity work with sombr but not when she’s working with a girl who can’t breath and sing at the same time??

12 to 12 isn’t a bad song I’ll give him credit there. Generally I find him pretty dull, but I think a lot of the extreme hate comes from it being so popular that it’s become meme-ified. A lot of the hate for him seems very “I blocked Gracie abrams” meme-adjacent. Like the stan twitter ecosystem basically revolves around hating on anyone who doesn’t have a big fan base to back them up in order to gas your favs and sombr obviously hasn’t had the time to build a real fan base yet.

Not saying that that’s good or okay or a sign that society is moving in a positive direction, that’s just my analysis

That was charity work too! I’d love to see taylor get more involved in more philanthropy that doesn’t benefit nepo babies but I guess to a billionaire JJ Abrams’s $300 million net worth makes him a brokey idfk
