It sounds like they gave her a scene and told her to write a song for a specific scene, and it feels incomplete (not bad!) without that context. The way I see it, there’s two types of movie songs: songs written for a specific scene in mind and aren’t complete without it, and a stand alone song from existing that the music person can apply for the scene. I prefer the latter but that’s just my preference. You’re entitled to your own opinion but to me, it’s one of Taylor’s weaker songs written for a movie
