The fact she didn’t get one single win for that album was so ridiculous. And I’m saying this also as a Kendrick fan Not Like Us should not have gotten both Song and Record like it was damn good but Birds of a Feather should have gotten Song of the Year.

I don’t hate showgirl but I just feel like she has so many other better albums. It’s not the worst album that exists but Taylor’s discography is huge and it just falls short to me. I do like father figure a lot tho

Grammys aren’t about charts or sales, they’re about literally everything else- production, vocals, writing, storytelling, themes etc. Art is subjective but to me, the production was the best thing about this album, and it still isn’t their (max martin, shellback and Taylor’s) best work. I have no doubt that showgirl will win every other award it’s nominated for, just not a Grammy
