also you all hate FUN it’s a FUN album. she’s at a good point in her life why are you expecting and wanting this deep, depressing music. everyone talks about the albums folklore thru ttpd. that was the lowest point in her life, why would you want another album that sounds like that??? i’m glad that is album sounds like ME! that means our girl is happy again!!!!

also everything is “cringy” now to you. why are we so worried about being cringy? you live one life, who the hell cares if you’re cringy or not??? that’s why taylor is so successful bc she is sweet and funny and goofy and cringey! that’s why we love her! why would her music not reflect that??!

But the thing is, people are allowed to be excited for smth and then not like it. Hate is crazy but like it’s okay not to like an artists work and still like the artist

it's okay for people to be disappointed though, hating is one thing but it's disappointing when you were looking forward to something and it wasn't what you expected. this is coming from someone who isn't even that big into the the easter eggs and such but bc the album shoot was so cool, and experimental for her i assumed the album would be as well. i want her to explore different sounds, but this imo felt very safe and run of the mill. i'm glad she's happy tho but this album just isn't my fav
