I love this lyric but it doesn’t make sense to me? Why wouldn’t she say “I’m still trying to find her??” Why would you refer to your old self as “it”

Well “it”just makes more since instead of saying “her” it’s her personality so that’s why she said that and we should know by now that Taylor swift switches her lyrics to different stuff
