Started watching the summer I turned pretty and it’s so bad. I’m sorry but no amount of Taylor songs can save this show.

I have so many criticisms of the show, including the music. I like the songs they used, but I hate when they literally act out the lyrics in the show (dress while having sex? Yoyok in Paris??). Anyway if I say how I really feel people will come at me lmao

Lowkey I wanna hear you really feel because I like the show in a guilty pleasure way because having my mind focus messiness that these characters get themselves into is entertaining. Like I cringed at the dances that Belly and Jere wanted to do at their wedding and some of the dialogue like in s2 when Taylor said that Belly and Jere were wattpad level hot something like that.

that’s me with the the walking dead! i also feel like there was such a character assassination on jeremiah. i’m not his biggest fan nor do i support the fact he cheated but in the book vs show… they made him out to be The Worst Guy Ever.

In terms of music now that the show is over I liked the music choices for the most part because I added them to some of my playlists. In terms of Taylor they could cut some of the songs (Lover, Sweet Nothing, Robin, and ICDIWABH). Thought of this while typing thank u next should used in icdiwabh’s place instead s1 because Belly has gone through relationships not just a summer fling.

S1-6 peak The Walking Dead never the same after Glen’s death. I agree that Jeremiah’s character went downhill because some his actions were giving manchild, he was desperate of trying not lose Belly which doesn’t excuse how he behaved but at least he got some redemption
