Deepest condolences to this person. Don’t know the situation but guys… safety first and empathy for this is most important. No concert or anything ever is worth a persons life. I just feel horrible for everybody involved. Ugh.

It’s truly so sad. I read that she died from overheating. No water bottles were allowed in the stadium and it was over 100 degrees.

100+ degrees in the stadium the entirety of the show, and the stadium didn’t let ppl bring any water….from what I’ve read she collapsed bc of the heat and went into cardiac arrest and CPR did not help and she passed away before the show

taylor could have not said anything about this but instead she took time out of her day and before her tour, where she has a million things on her mind, and posted for this poor girl. my heart goes out to this girl and her family♥️♥️♥️

This is so ridiculously sad and NEVER should have happened. The negligence of this stadium in not allowing water to be brought in has now tainted this tour. 😞 So many girls and women have been going to the shows & feeling safe while surrounded by other swifties, and now a family is missing a sweet member just because she wanted that experience too 😞💔

Hopefully I don’t get attacked for saying this but I’m just genuinely curious why the show wasn’t cancelled? Im not sure when the weather ended up turning this hot but if they saw it this morning they should’ve just post-poned the next few shows till it gets cooler out. The organization also should’ve never banned water and covered up the vents so that people couldn’t see in (not 100% sure if that’s accurate but what i’m seeing). I don’t see how the show could go on tomorrow with this weather.

It’s interesting because it seems like Taylor should not be the one taking responsibility for this. So I think it makes sense not to postpone a show. What repercussions will the stadium be facing?

Taylor needs to cancel. She knows better! If water is not an option and it's THAT hot, then it's not safe. Kind of pissed off that she cares more about the money then her own audience!

Yeah I mean that could be why. I do think that tomorrows show should be post poned though to be safe since I hear the temperatures are going to be even hotter plus the humidity is insane.

She fainted and had a cardio respiratory attack. They tried to resuscitate her but it did not work. She died from dehydration and the heat. She died due to negligence from the stadium and carelessness as fans were not allowed to bring water and stadium staff did not hand out water. Taylor had to throw out water bottles to fans and have her own team hand out water.

i 100% agree with this and fully fault the stadium. im not from brazil but i do have family in latin america and i know that the safety regulations are not up to standards. also from what other people are saying it seems like taylor had to ask for water to be distributed and it’s unclear as to if it even was :(

Taylor said in her story that she only had limited information. I’m assuming she had no idea about the water bottle ban, and would have done something if she had known. Taylor truly cares for the well-being of her fans and if she would have known that’s how it was going to be she would have done something.. also, hopefully this doesn’t come off as attacking you!! Just trying to give my input 🫶

It didn’t come off that way at all don’t worry!! I don’t wanna seem like I’m attacking Taylor I love Taylor that’s why i’m here I was just sharing an opinion I had. I know how much she adores her fans and I’m sure that she didn’t know about the ban and that’s not her fault they should’ve allowed water in the first place. I was just saying that if they saw that morning about the extreme heat why not just cancel the show?

upvote 4 downvote

I heard it was a lot hotter in the stadium than it was outside bc the stadium blocked the air vents so ppl couldn’t watch the show from outside so there was no ventilation for anyone in the stadium..maybe that’s why?

I think that they should make it so everyone on the floor has assigned seats like in the U.S. so people don’t have to wait in the heat cause it was over 100 degrees just outside the stadium so it was still super hot out there.
