Like yeah, Sympathy is a Knife seems to be about Taylor, but that song is literally saying “it's hard not to compare myself to you and your success to the point that it makes me feel insecure as an artist despite us being on different ends of the pop spectrum” which was the same theme with her song with Lorde. I really doubt Taylor would have an issue with her over that

well i think it's all just kinda hard to explain i got all the lore from tik tok 😭😭... but it all has to do with the whole matty healy situation cause charli is engaged to another member of the band the 1975 and she (what i've heard) talked shit about taylor behind her back because she didn't like seeing her cause she was dating matty and i think taylor does have a point in her song cause they used to be friends couple years ago...

Charli has been having one sided beef for years, when she opened for Taylor’s tour she said it was singing for a bunch of little girls and then stuff with matty and charli made a song about Taylor supposedly and then Taylor never replied to any of it and then just dropped actually romantic and Charlis fans got mad
