Ur right but for charlie to have played as good of a game as Kenzie… to lose by the hands of ur “best friend” who wanted u to be the godfather of ur kids.. was bitter and a sore loser and ur naive to think otherwise. She didn’t owe him her vote but it certainly made me lose a LOT of respect for her bc we all know it wasn’t just bc Kenzie’s game was better. And charlie didn’t even turn on her til she turned on him first so idk she can fuck all the way off for all I care

i think its totally fair to criticize her voting for kenzie, she def was bitter, but part of the game is controlling the juries’ bitterness towards you. its also one thing to judge the choice, another to continue to drag and hate on her two years after the season. she got wayyyy too much heat for it at the time, and i thinks its insane she’s still getting a lot of hate for it now

You don’t think Maria went back to Ponderosa and ripped him to shreds? It was her only goal at that point to make Charlie feel as bad as she did. She wanted him to be the “godfather of her children” and then voted for a woman she barely knew to win a million dollars over him a few days later. That’s a BAD person move lmao no matter how you look at it, evil shit. And the way she smuggly explained to him how she played better like give me a break

i didn’t watch anything from ponderosa, are there videos of her doing that, or has anyone from the show said she did that? kinda crazy to assume she did if theres no evidence, and i also think its absolutely insane to call someone a bad person over a vote on a tv show (even if that was for $1 mil) where we don’t see 95% of what happens. she could’ve said the godfather thing as a game move-deeply manipulative but fair game-we don’t have the info to judge it fully

I never even watched Worlds apart all the way through lol probably the worst season ever so idk. Also, I don’t need every bit of information to know what kind of person Maria is. Preached the entire game about making an example for her daughters.. only for her to backstab the person she saw as a son 🤣🤣🤣 insanity

my point was WA is that Tyler and Carolyn were close allies throughout the season until Carolyn votes him out, and she arguably played a better game than Mike, but Tyler still votes for him. similar situation with Maria and Charlie, but he gets nowhere near the amount of heat for it and nobody ever calls him a bad person. also it’s highly likely she talked about her kids about as much as any other parent, the show just chose to show it more with her

Survivor looooves editing mothers to be warm and nurturing on the outside, but they betray ppl. and somehow this makes the fandom believe they are bad people instead of just playing the game like the others. so i think its unfair to use the mother aspect here. and ya we maybe don’t need every single piece of info, but we need more than 2% lol

and to clarify with my Tyler point, I don’t think it was much less shitty than Maria voting for Kenzie, but he was entirely to do so, didn’t owe his vote to Carolyn, and he’s not a bad person solely for that

I encourage you to go back and watch Maria turn from a supportive person to a very vengeful one purely because her plan didn’t work and she was outplayed by Charlie. The fact her vote was just basically out of malice is a reason I’ll never ever like her. I understand there’s double standards in survivor, the same as life. I just think she showed her true colors regardless
