Survivor on Sidechat | I don’t get the Jonathan hate, especially after this episode. Taking out Ozzy was definitely the best move for his game and even tho Cirie is a bigger threat than Emily, he has a working relationship with Cirie. I actually think he managed this very well

Ppl just hate Jonathan bc of the cloth alliance.. it’s hard for me to root for him this season knowing about that alliance but regardless he doesn’t deserve the amount of hate he gets and is playing a much better game this time.

he’s playing a good game this season, and idrc about the zoom alliance. i get annoyed by him cuz i think he can be pretty condescending (ex. the way he talked to dee when her and coach were talking, even if there was some game merit to intervening there) and how acts when ppl play the game when it doesn’t benefit him (rick and emily at tribal). i like him more this season than his last, and the last episode gave me a slightly better opinion of him, but i def don’t want him to win at all

He was better this past episode, but he was so unnecessarily smug in other episodes and it got really annoying

I don’t necessarily get that either though because there were other pregame alliances too, not just the one he’s in. If you listen to the podcasts by Tyson and Rob C they talk abt how everyone does it nowadays. Devens and Christian and Emily did it too

100% it’s impossible to stop pregaming and I think a pregame alliance w 2-3 ppl is one thing but a pre-alliance w like 7-8 ppl is one that imo looks like u dont think you’ll be able to get through the game w/o a big enough starting alliance. So id vote for someone who had to build more relationships than someone who had a lot already pre-existing. But I certainly don’t hate the man😭 im just rooting for other ppl
