I don’t have any examples but I’ve just been seeing TikToks that clearly show gender bias, it’s not a big deal but it kinda annoys me

i dont have tiktok so ig i don’t see that side mcub. i think theres def a sect of fans who dont like men simply cuz they r men, but also at least an equal sect that loves the alpha men (nothing wrong with that by itself) who will be called out by fans for doing something a-holeish and be like “they have done nothing wrong and ppl just hate them cuz they r white men” even tho they were just kinda being a jerk

david comes most recently to mind, esp with how he talked to chrissy at her last tribal. there were also a few moments with jonathan talking down to the women as well. ig my point is that i think the gender bias goes both ways within the fanbase and both r annoying

I totally see what you mean and that’s def a pretty common thing especially on survivor. David from 48 is a good example, obviously not very likeable but people making fun of him for being poor and his wife leaving him crossed a line

ya i totally agree that ppl shouldn’t have made fun of his situation off the show. everything that happens on the island is fair game imo but personal life stuff like that crosses a line fs

I was one of David’s biggest haters because he just didn’t play the right way, the same can be said for Joe I’ve seen people hate on him even though he evidently has a heart of gold
