The whole idea of big moves didn’t really even come around until the mid-20s seasons. Big moves can be good and resume building, but they’re not a prerequisite to win. That being said, I don’t think Rizo will win anyway, but acting like he’s done absolutely nothing because he hasn’t pulled off a massive blindside or anything is crazy to me
Totally agree with y’all 100%. He’s controlling the game strategically. It’s just not built off of flashy idol/advantage plays and unpredictable blindsides. And that’s okay. It’s such a problem to me that the fans randomly decided one day that in order to play a good game you have to make big, shocking moves.
I think he has just done such a phenomenal job of using his idol to his advantage without having to play it. It’s so easy for someone to call bluff especially after time and time again so I think rizzo has really pulled out as many tricks as he could with it. Fake idol, lying about when it expires, continuing to bring it up to instill chaos and fear… and even last night he proved that being down 3-2, he can still protect himself and his allies without even having to use it
I’ve been saying this, I think we r missing some really important convos. It’s like production is focusing too much on making sure tribal is a toss up but like I miss seeing the strategizing actually put into action rather than them just discussing their plans not knowing what actually affected the vote
Yes! Big moves should not be a prerequisite to win. If u can control the game without getting blood on your hands and managing the jury well, that’s actually more impressive to me and I loved big brother this season bc we got to see a winner like that for one prove that not all ur moves need to be flashy and showy but just show us the intention behind what u actually are doing and how that affected the game
