With snake bites it can not hurt for a while because it can take a bit for the venom to finally start affecting your nervous system so him being chill may be because it actually didn’t hurt at first

I’ve never experienced it either but I’m a biologist lol so I learned about snake venom in school and how it affects the nervous system
