It would’ve been best for Devin and Jelly to cut on another. There games are too similar and they are a clear duo. Ori would’ve given them potentially new allies. Especially for Jelly, I don’t see Devin providing any new allies bc he’s hard to work with

It definitely would’ve been best for Jelly to cut Devin, but I can’t complain that Devin didn’t cut Jelly. Jelly trusts him unconditionally and refuses to go against him, and that’s about the most valuable thing you can have in the game. Plus, she has an idol and I don’t doubt that she would use it on him if needed. I don’t think it’s quite so clear cut that Ori was better for Devin’s game. Ori’s main alliance was the helicopter alliance and half his OG tribe has been voted out anyway

Strong disagree. There are still 15 people left and premerge. These are early days and not the time to cut your #1 ally. Savu is down in numbers and will probably be happy to work with Devin and Jelly regardless of Ori. If anything, they could get sketched out that either of them betrayed their #1 so early.

agreed. devins whole brand is radical honesty, and it would’ve made him look sketch as hell if he voted out jelly. but jelly and devin are going into the merge and obvious duo without any other connection besides sharonda, where jelly and ori are less obvious and ori has more connections that jelly could potentially work with, so i think jelly should’ve cut devin here

i see the argument, and i do agree savu will probably work w/ jelly and devin. i dont think cutting devin will make jelly look that shady bc she can easily explain it as he’s not a reliable ally. ori is much more level-headed and less of a clear duo w/ jelly, plus he’s more likely to be a shield for her where i could see the tribe voting out jelly before devin
