I’m glad they’re breaking the cookie cutter mold of the new era, but is anyone else seriously concerned that they’re going to overload on twists like they did this season? I’m worried. We don’t need a twist every episode. Just let the players play

This season is exactly what I was afraid was gonna happen. That’s why I voted against idols and twists. No one listened

100% same. I voted for the minimal amount of everything because I foresaw this exact problem. I knew if we gave them an inch they would take a thousand miles

And I knew that if season 50 didn’t have the minimum amount of twists and advantages we’d never see it again. And it looks like that’s exactly the case with the 51 trailer :/

I’m totally with you. A fan vote in favor of twists and advantages makes them feel validated that they can keep doing increasingly crazy stuff that no one actually wants to see. That’s what I hate most about the fan voting. They’re never gonna go back to the way the show once was because in their minds the fans are happy with the direction of the show (I also lowkey think the fan voting was rigged but that’s a discussion for another day)

Yup, agreed with everything you said. As a 5 years survivor fan, I’m really disappointed in the direction the show is going and how Jeff is handling everything. That man needs to retire and stop making excuses for everything. He’s done his job so well over the years but it’s gotten to a point where he needs to let someone else take over.
