Horrible move from Christian imo. Emily is definitely less reliable but he didn't even need to turn on her yet. Steph is a sitting duck who has allies on other tribes.

At this point he probably thinks Emily is reliable not to be reliable, Mike is really good and unpredictable, and there wasn’t a route to get out Stephanie with everyone’s attention elsewhere

I blame Mike and Ozzy tbh they were moving the game along too fast and Christian jumped to get out the biggest threat. Stephanie and Angelina were RIGHT THERE

i actually think this is a great move from christian. yea emily can be a bit loose-lipped, but i think christian needs someone in the game that views him as their #1, and with this move that’s emily. mike and angelina are always going to have each other, and putting emily in a spot where she has to leave out ozzy can only drive them further apart, leaving emily with him. plus, who does angelina really have to go to after mike besides christian?

Mike 100% was being manipulative but Christian had all the power to not only not fall for that manipulation but still keep all of his numbers in the game. They're both questionable allies but I think they're valuable for the short term personally

You might be right about Steph not really being an option anymore by the end but I think it's a failing on Christian's end that he wasn't able to hold the power structure in place

It may have been intentional. He probably thought his alliance was tight enough that he could take a back seat and manage his threat level. Of course in the end it was worse since he had to expose himself even more to clean up the mess the tribe was putting him in
