I think the reason why I’m so devastated is because it feels so unsatisfying. Like if he was blindsided for being a threat, that’s one thing. But having a celebrity twist that makes him publicly have to vote for himself because he couldn’t finish a puzzle with an impossible time limit is another thing. He wasn’t voted out because he’s such a huge threat and was playing a great game. He was voted out because it was convenient because he was screwed over. Just an unsatisfying finish

Also I do think there’s a chance he would’ve been voted out regardless, but this twist really buried him. He had no chance after he had to publicly announce that he had to vote for himself. I think if he had primarily been eliminated because he pitched voting for Ozzy to Cirie, it would’ve been a more satisfying finish for him. But he lost any ability to work his way out of the hole because of the twist
