Why can’t they write their own name down? I feel like that could open more gameplay tbh like someone could write their own name down and blame it on someone

I get what you’re saying that it could be open more gameplay. But I think he was trying to quit the game without actually saying the words.

Survivor HATES quitters and has a history of pointing out that if you want to quit, don’t make your tribe mates/tribal do it for you, you need to face the humiliation of Jeff’s harsh words and walking out with your tail between your legs. The show wouldn’t want him to have a shining moment out the door like he was trying to.
